		Poet Victoria Mosley, author of Crazy Love, was the guest of the British Council in the Indonesian city of Surabaya. She did workshops and performances there from the 24th till the 27th August.

		Finnish-language rights in Dr James Simpson's books of clerical humour Holy Wit and More Holy Wit have been sold to Klaukkala-based publisher Recallmed Oy.

		A launch event for Robin Hull's new novel The Healing Island took place at Grandtully Hall, Perthshire. There were exhibitions of paintings by Eric Timms and silver by Malcolm Appleby as part of the event.
